Biography of Janka Salamievič

Janka Salamievič (* 29. October 1938 in Malaja Krakotka; † 31. July 2012 in Minsk) was a soviet specialist in literature and translator. He was 73 years old. He studied at Faculty of Philology of the Belarusian State University. He worked at Belarusian State University, National Library of Belarus, Vysheishaya shkola and Belarusian Petrus Brouka Encyclopedia. His awards include Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR and Byelorussian SSR State Prize.
