Jay Leyda (* 12. February 1910 in Detroit; † 15. February 1988 in New York City) was an uS-amerikanischer Filmhistoriker, Literaturkritiker. He was 78 years old. He studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. He worked at New York University. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was heart failure.
