Biography
Jayant Vishnu Narlikar (* July 19, 1938 in Kolhapur; † May 20, 2025 in Pune) was an indian astrophysicist and writer. He was 86 years old. He was married to Mangala Narlikar. His education included Fitzwilliam College, Banaras Hindu University, University of Cambridge, Central Hindu Boys School and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He received 10 awards, including Prix Jules Janssen, Maharashtra Bhushan Award.
