Jean Macnamara (* 1. April 1899 in Beechworth; † 13. October 1968 in South Yarra) was an australian medical doctor and scientist. She was 69 years old. Her education included University of Melbourne and Presbyterian Ladies' College. She worked at Royal Children's Hospital and WEHI. Her awards include Victorian Honour Roll of Women and Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Her cause of death was cardiovascular disease.
