Jean Meyriat (* 9. March 1921 in 7th arrondissement of Lyon; † 26. December 2010 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a french documentalist and information scientist. He was 89 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure, University of Lyon, University of Paris and École pratique des hautes études Section des sciences historiques et philologiques. He worked at Sciences Po. His awards include Knight of the Legion of Honour, Officer of the National Order of Merit and Knight of the French Order of Academic Palms.
