Jerry Goldsmith (* February 10, 1929 in Los Angeles; † July 21, 2004 in Beverly Hills) was an american film composer. He was 75 years old. He was married to Carol Heather Goldsmith and Sharon Hennagin Goldsmith. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included University of Southern California and USC Thornton School of Music. He received 4 awards, including Emmy Award, Academy Award for Best Original Score. His cause of death was colorectal cancer. He was buried at Hillside Memorial Park.
