Biography of Jesse Owens

Jesse Owens (* 12. September 1913 in Oakville; † 31. March 1980 in Tucson) was an american track and field athlete. He was 66 years old. He was married to M. Ruth Solomon. His education included Ohio State University, East Technical High School and North Platte High School. He received 7 awards, including Presidential Medal of Freedom, Congressional Gold Medal. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Oak Woods Cemetery.
