Jewgeni Michailowitsch Schukow (* 10. October 1907 in Warsaw; † 9. March 1980 in Moscow) was a russian historian. He was 72 years old. He studied at Leningrad Orient Institute. He worked at Institute for Philosophy, Literature and History in Leningrad, Saint Petersburg State University, Institute of History of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, USSR State Committee for Television and Radio, MSU Faculty of History, Academy of Social Sciences of the Central Committee of CPSU, Pravda, Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Institute of World History. He received 5 awards, including USSR State Prize, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
