

Czech diplomat and writer (1893-1942)
Jiří Sedmík (* 9. April 1893 in Prague; † 18. December 1942 in Plötzensee Prison) was a czech diplomat and writer. He was 49 years old. His faith was Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. He was awarded the USTR Prize for Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights. His cause of death was decapitation by guillotine.
