Johan Gerard van Loon (* 29. October 1934 in Rotterdam; † 24. February 2020 in Breda) was a dutch ceramist and textile artist. He was 85 years old. His education included Gerrit Rietveld Academie and European Ceramics Work Center. He worked at Weverij De Ploeg, Design Academy Eindhoven and Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Sint-Joost. He was awarded the Van Achterbergh-prijs.
