Biography of John Canaday

John Canaday (* 1. February 1907 in Fort Scott; † 19. July 1985 in New York City) was an american art historian. He was 78 years old. His education included Yale University and University of Texas at Austin. He worked at Tulane University of Louisiana, University of Virginia and Hollins University. He was awarded the Athenaeum Literary Award. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
