Biography of John Chipman

John Chipman (* 25. April 1897 in Tallahassee; † 14. May 1983 in Winchester) was an american chemist and metallurgist. He was 86 years old. His education included University of California, Berkeley, University of Iowa and Sewanee: The University of the South. He worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His awards include Francis J. Clamer Medal and Bessemer Gold Medal.
