Biography of John D. Petersen

John D. Petersen (* 21. November 1947 in Los Angeles; † 11. September 2025 in Chapel Hill) was an american chemist. He was 77 years old. His education included California State University, Los Angeles and University of California, Santa Barbara. He worked at Clemson University, Wayne State University, University of Connecticut and Kansas State University. His awards include Humboldt Research Fellowship and Humboldt Prize.
