John George Bartholomew (* 22. March 1860 in Edinburgh; † 14. April 1920 in Sintra) was a british cartographer (1860-1920) and founder of Edinburgh Geographical Institute and later Collins Bartholomew. He was 60 years old. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and Victoria Medal. He was buried at São Pedro de Penaferrim Cemetery.
