John Gielgud (* April 14, 1904 in South Kensington; † May 21, 2000 in Wotton House) was a british actor and theatre director. He was 96 years old. His education included Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and Westminster School. He received 9 awards, including Laurence Olivier Awards, Praemium Imperiale. He was buried at Westminster Abbey.
