John Hiddlestone (* 12. March 1925 in Auckland; † 27. January 2008 in Nelson) was a new Zealand director-general of health. He was 82 years old. His education included Auckland Normal Intermediate School, Auckland Grammar School, University of Otago and University of Edinburgh. He worked at Department of Health. His awards include Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George.
