John Hurt (* January 22, 1940 in Chesterfield; † January 25, 2017 in Norfolk) was a british actor. He was 77 years old. He was married to Annette Robertson. He had 2 children. His education included Saint Martin's School of Art, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, St Michael's Preparatory School, Otford, Central Saint Martins and Lincoln Christ's Hospital School. His faith was Anglicanism. He received 6 awards, including British Academy Television Award for Best Actor, BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
