John Lee Hooker (* 22. August 1917 in Clarksdale; † 21. June 2001 in Los Altos) was an american blues musician (1912 or 1917–2001). He was 83 years old. His awards include Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His cause of death was disease. He was buried at Chapel of the Chimes.
