Biography of John P. Washington

John P. Washington (* 18. July 1908 in Newark; † 3. February 1943 in USAT Dorchester) was an uS army chaplain killed in action. He was 34 years old. His education included Harvard University, Seton Hall University, Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology and Seton Hall Preparatory School. His faith was Latin Church. His awards include Purple Heart, Distinguished Service Cross and Four Chaplains' Medal. He was buried at Atlantic Ocean.
