John Thaw (* January 3, 1942 in Longsight; † February 21, 2002 in Luckington) was a british actor. He was 60 years old. He was married to Sheila Hancock and Sally Alexander. His education included Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and Manchester Academy. He was awarded the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. His cause of death was esophageal cancer.
