John Vernon Head (* 24. March 1927 in Napier; † 4. February 2007 in Wellington) was a teacher, anti-landmine campaigner, writer. He was 79 years old. His education included Royal Military College and Whakatāne High School. He was awarded the Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
