Biography of Jonathan Mane-Wheoki

Jonathan Mane-Wheoki (* 8. December 1943 in North Island; † 10. October 2014 in Auckland) was a new Zealand art historian, academic, and curator. He was 70 years old. His education included Courtauld Institute of Art and University of Canterbury. He worked at University of Canterbury and University of Auckland. He received 4 awards, including Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, Pou Aronui Award. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
