Jorge Batlle Ibáñez (* 25. October 1927 in Montevideo; † 24. October 2016 in Montevideo) was a president of Uruguay. He was 88 years old. He was married to Mercedes Menafra. He studied at University of the Republic. His awards include Knight Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and Medal of Military Merit. His cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried at Central Cemetery of Montevideo.
