José Luis Cuerda (* February 18, 1947 in Albacete; † February 4, 2020 in Madrid) was a spanish film director. He was 72 years old. His awards include Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts, Castile-La Mancha Gold Medal and Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X the Wise. His cause of death was arterial embolism.
