Joseph Sargent (* July 22, 1925 in Jersey City; † December 22, 2014 in Malibu) was an american film director. He was 89 years old. He was married to Mary Carver and Carolyn Nelson. His awards include Primetime Emmy Award, Directors Guild of America Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease.
