Biography
Joseph Weizenbaum (* January 8, 1923 in Berlin; † March 5, 2008 in Ludwigsfelde) was a german-American computer scientist. He was 85 years old. He studied at Wayne State University. His awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Norbert Wiener Award for Social and Professional Responsibility and The VIZE 97 Prize. He was buried at Weißensee Cemetery.
