Jovita González (* 18. January 1904 in Roma; † 1. January 1983) was an uS-amerikanische Folkloristin, spezialisiert in texanisch-mexikanische Grenzgeschichte. She was 78 years old. She was married to E. E. Mireles. Her education included Our Lady of the Lake University and University of Texas at Austin. Her awards include National Prize for Arts and Sciences and Honorary Doctorate from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
