Józef Oleksy (* June 22, 1946 in Nowy Sącz; † January 9, 2015 in Warsaw) was a polish politician, Prime Minister of Poland. He was 68 years old. He was married to Maria Oleksy. He had 2 children. His education included SGH Warsaw School of Economics and I LO im. Kazimierza Brodzińskiego w Tarnowie. He received 7 awards, including Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Medal of the National Education Commission. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
