Biography
Jørgen Leth (* June 14, 1937 in Aarhus; † September 29, 2025 in Herlev Hospital) was a danish film director and poet. He was 88 years old. He had 3 wives. His education included Aarhus University, Fjordsgade forenings- og fritidshus and Marselisborg Gymnasium. He received 6 awards, including Weekendavisen Book Award, Statens Kunstfonds hædersydelse. He was buried at Holmen Cemetery.
