Jules Lemaître (* 27. April 1853 in Vennecy; † 4. August 1914 in Tavers) was a französischer Schriftsteller, Dramatiker und Theaterkritiker. He was 61 years old. He studied at École Normale Supérieure. He worked at University of Algiers 1 and Grenoble Alpes University. His awards include Concours général, Vitet Prize and Officer of the Legion of Honour.
