American lawyer (1936–2013)
Julius L. Chambers (* 6. October 1936 in Mount Gilead; † 2. August 2013 in Charlotte) was an american lawyer. He was 76 years old. His education included University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, Columbia Law School and North Carolina Central University. He worked at Harvard University, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and North Carolina Central University. He was awarded the North Carolina Award for Public Service.
