Yuriy Sedykh (* 11. June 1955 in Novocherkassk; † 14. September 2021 in Pontoise) was a soviet athletics competitor, hammer thrower. He was 66 years old. He was married to Natalya Lisovskaya and Lyudmila Kondratyeva. He studied at National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine. His awards include Order of the October Revolution, Order of Lenin and Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Federal Military Memorial Cemetery.
