Jurijs Abizovs (* 19. November 1921 in Rezh; † 20. June 2006 in Riga) was a soviet writer. He was 84 years old. He studied at University of Latvia. His awards include Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class and Medal "For Battle Merit". He was buried at Forest Cemetery.
