Kamisese Mara (* May 6, 1920 in Fiji; † April 18, 2004 in Suva) was a president of Fiji. He was 83 years old. He was married to Ro Litia Cakobau Lalabalvu Katoafutoga Tuisawau. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His education included Wadham College, London School of Economics and Political Science, Sacred Heart College, Auckland and University of Otago. His awards include Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Pius IX‎, Order of Diplomatic Service Merit and honorary doctor of the University of Otago. His cause of death was stroke.
