Karaja Burunov (* 2. August 1898; † 22. March 1965 in Ashgabat) was a turkmen Soviet writer, translator. He was 66 years old. He studied at Faculty of Oriental Studies of the St. Petersburg University. He was awarded the Order of Lenin.
