Karel Destovnik (* 13. December 1922 in Šoštanj; † 22. February 1944 in Žlebnik) was a slowenischer Dichter, Übersetzer und Nationalheld. He was 21 years old. He studied at First Grammar School, Celje. His awards include People's Hero of Yugoslavia and Order of the People's Hero.
