Karel Pokorný (* 18. January 1891 in Pavlice; † 14. February 1962 in Prague) was a czech sculptor and university educator. He was 71 years old. His education included Academy of Fine Arts, Prague and Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. His awards include Národní umělec, Order of the Republic and Klement Gottwald State Prize. He was buried at Vyšehrad cemetery.
