Biography of Karola Szalay

Karola Szalay (* 23. May 1911 in Budapest; † 2. January 2001 in Milan) was a ballet dancer. She was 89 years old. She was married to Italo Zingarelli. Her education included Hungarian State Opera House and Eötvös Loránd University. She worked at La Scala, Hungarian Dance Academy, Piccolo Teatro and theatre company of the Hungarian State Opera. She was buried at New Public Cemetery, Budapest.
