Kenneth Kaunda (* 28. April 1924 in Chinsali; † 17. June 2021 in Lusaka) was a first president of Zambia. He was 97 years old. He was married to Betty Kaunda. His education included Munali Secondary School and Rusangu University. His faith was Presbyterianism. He received 9 awards, including Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding, Order of José Martí. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Embassy Park.
