Kim Il-sung (* 15. April 1912 in Mangyongdae District; † 8. July 1994 in Pyongyang) was a nordkoreanischer Politiker, ehemaliger Staatspräsident Nordkoreas. He was 82 years old. He was married to Kim Song-ae and Kim Jong-suk. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). His education included Jilin Yuwen High School and Mangyongdae Revolutionary School. His faith was irreligion. He received 6 awards, including Hero of the Republic, Order of Augusto César Sandino. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.
