Kim Young-sam (* 20. December 1927 in Geoje; † 22. November 2015 in Seoul) was a president of South Korea from 1993 to 1998. He was 87 years old. He was married to Son Myung-soon. He had 6 children. His education included Seoul National University and Kyungnam High School. His faith was Presbyterianism. He received 10 awards, including Grand Order of Mugunghwa, Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Seoul National Cemetery.
