Biography
Kira Muratova (* November 5, 1934 in Soroca; † June 6, 2018 in Odesa) was a soviet and Ukrainian film director, screenwriter, film actress. She was 83 years old. She was married to Oleksandr Muratov. She studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. She received 5 awards, including Berliner Kunstpreis, Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise. Her cause of death was stroke. She was buried at Tairovske cemetery.
