Biography of Kitty Carlisle

Kitty Carlisle (* 3. September 1910 in New Orleans; † 17. April 2007 in New York City) was an american stage and screen actress, singer, and spokesperson for the arts. She was 96 years old. She was married to Moss Hart. Her education included University of Paris, London School of Economics and Political Science and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She received 4 awards, including National Medal of Arts, Distinguished Service to the Visual Arts Award. Her cause of death was heart failure. She was buried at Ferncliff Cemetery.
