Memorial Page for Klym Tschurjumow

Klim Churyumov (* February 19, 1937 in Mykolaiv; † October 14, 2016 in Kharkiv) was an ukrainian astronomer and children's poet. He was 79 years old. He studied at Faculty of Physics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. His awards include Order of Merit (Ukraine), 3rd class and Order of Merit (Ukraine), 2nd class. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
