Kon Ichikawa (* November 20, 1915 in Ise; †February 13, 2008 in Tokyo) was a japanese film director and screenwriter. He was 92 years old. He was married to Natto Wada. He received 7 awards, including Medal with Purple Ribbon, Person of Cultural Merit. His cause of death was pneumonia.
