Biography of Lajos Kántor

Lajos Kántor (* 7. August 1937 in Cluj-Napoca; † 22. July 2017 in Cluj-Napoca) was a rumänischer Herausgeber, Kritiker, Philologe und Literaturhistoriker. He was 79 years old. He was married to Erzsébet Kántor. His education included Reformed College in Cluj-Napoca, Bolyai University and Babeș-Bolyai University. He received 7 awards, including romániai magyar irodalmi díj, Joseph Pulitzer Memorial Prize.
