Biography
Laurent Schwartz (* March 5, 1915 in 16th arrondissement of Paris; † July 4, 2002 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a french mathematician. He was 87 years old. He was married to Marie-Hélène Schwartz. His education included École Normale Supérieure and Lycée Janson-de-Sailly. He received 6 awards, including Fields medal, Heinz R. Pagels Human Rights of Scientists Award.
