Léon Brillouin (* 7. August 1889 in Sèvres; † 4. October 1969 in New York City) was a französisch-amerikanischer Physiker. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Paris, École Normale Supérieure and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He worked at Brown University, Harvard University, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Collège de France and University of Paris. His awards include Fellow of the American Physical Society and Cours Peccot.
