León Febres-Cordero (* 9. March 1931 in Guayaquil; † 15. December 2008 in Guayaquil) was a president of Ecuador (1984 - 1988). He was 77 years old. He was married to María Eugenia Cordovez. His education included Stevens Institute of Technology, Mercersburg Academy and Charlotte Hall Military Academy. His faith was Catholicism. His cause of death was cancer.
