Biography of Leonid Oleksandrovych Smogorzhevskyi

Leonid Oleksandrovych Smogorzhevskyi (* 28. January 1921 in Kholodivka; † 21. August 1996 in Kyiv) was an ukrainian ornithologist. He was 75 years old. He was married to Lidia Oleksiivna Smogorzhevska. He studied at Institute of biology of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class.
